April 21, 2002 - April Fool Poker Run and Cruise

The weather cooperated and, as a result, we had 15 cars for this months event! Let's hope this increased turnout is the sign of a new trend!

Charles Coleman and Sharon Duke planned a beautiful route winding from the Agricenter, to Herb Parsons Lake, on to Moscow and finally to the Olive Branch Catfish Company for an early dinner. The Poker Run was won by Jim Hofer, whose flush just beat out another flush held by Buzz Merchlewitz. The big winners, though, were the many club members who had such a great time on the cruise. Many thanks to Charles and Sharon for their efforts in making this event such a success.

Quite a turnout - and quite a few spectators for the impromptu car show.

More of the impressive group of cars appearing at this event.

MGs were well represented, as they should be at the MG Marque event!

A slightly sticking throttle cable gets some attention.

What? Not another sticking throttle cable! Are these contagious?

Even a few German cars - and some Detroit iron - joined us for the cruise.

There's only one thing missing in "downtown" Moscow on a Sunday afternoon........restrooms!!
