Even though it
was our first mid-week event, we still had a terrific turnout - 9
British cars, plus Charles Coleman's '55 T-Bird. Members gathered at
the Sonic Drive-In on Germantown Road in Cordova beginning at about
5:30. Although our cars might have been overshadowed - and certainly
overpowered! - by the multitude of impressive street rods, our
contingent still garnered our share of curious and appreciative
onlookers.
From there, we made the short trip down Germantown Road to Roadshow MINI to check out the new MINI Coopers - then it was on to the Fox & Hound for dinner, drinks and conversation. Let's do it every month! |
