Several
BSCC members attended this show (some for the 2nd year), along with members of
other Memphis area car clubs. The drive over was uneventful other than a
certain Brooklands Green MGB having a "fuel pump episode" just
outside Turrell and again at the entrance to the show, and a certain red
MGB overheating at the show entrance due to inoperative cooling fans and
a certain red XKE with a noisy generator. Repairs (or more accurately
"patches") were made to the latter two at the show site, and
the green MGB made it the final 90 miles back home without the fuel pump
taking another nap. Over 400 vehicles of every description were on
display here including a large contingent of British cars from clubs
from Memphis, Arkansas and Missouri.
