September 20-21, 2024 - Memphis Eurofest Car Show
A warm sunny day gave us
almost perfect weather for the show (although a bit
cooler would have been nice!), and resulted in our
largest car show in years - with over 140 cars
registered! Here are 290 photos from this annual event.
These are also on our BSCC Archives Facebook page at

June 29, 2024 - Elmwood Cemetery Tour
What a fabulous event
today to Elmwood Cemetery created and executed by
our museum expert David White. The day was
unbearably hot but extremely interesting. Lunch at
SOB exceeded our expectations with Hugo the waiter
and a mile high hamburger. Thank you Tony Harrington
for driving both Hi and I in his old but luxurious
ride. A Quick stop at the Edge Museum topped the
day. Enjoy the pictures.

May 26, 2024 - Indy 500 Fish Fry
Rain might have caused a major delay for the Indianapolis 500 but not for our annual Indy 500 Fish Fry, hosted by Jim Hofer at his home. The weather proved to be wonderful, and Jim Hofer, as always, did double duty as both host and master chef. There was no shortage of food between Jim's fried catfish and the multiple side dishes and desserts that everyone provided. Enjoy these photos of the event courtesy of Carolyn Shepard...

Thanks to the Shepards, and GPAC (Germantown
Performing Arts Center), for securing the veranda at The Grove so the

The Grove.The
Shepards reserved the veranda in the Grove in Germantown for BSCC club
members. The turnout was small, but a good time was enjoyed by those who
did come. Photos below by Carolyn Shepard.

May 11, 2024 - BSCC/PCA Cars & Coffee
Our club and the Porsche Club of America - Mid South Region had the first of what will hopefully become a regular event - a Cars & Coffee gathering at the Market at Arlington Crossing. The PCA group invited us to this event, rented the pavilion, which is located at 12090 Forrest Street in Arlington (directly behind the former Vinegar Jim's, now the Kitchen Table) - and also provided coffee an donuts! We had that pavilion from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, which provided us plenty of time to meet the other club members and check out the large variety of cars. - over 60 of them! The weather couldn't have been better! Enjoy the pictures below - and watch our Upcoming Events page to see when the next joint cars and coffee event will occur. April 20, 2024 - Brits on the Bay (Pensacola FL)
Attended this show with my friend David
White who is the Jaguar Marque Leader of our Memphis club. Approximately
125 British vehicles attended with many MGBs, two MGCs, Austin Healeys,
Triumphs, with 1 Stag, TR4s,TR3s and TR6s. Minis, Jaguars, MGAs, Morgans,
etc. The show featured a complimentary dinner with open bar on Friday
night at the Commerce Museum. The show field of Historic Seville Park
had a huge gazebo, and beautiful trees providing needed shade wih 88
degree temp. A great venue and highly organized, silent auction, door
prizes, balloting, car classes and designated parking. In short, one of
the most organized shows I have ever seen.
Good news that David won a second in
class with his 94 Jag XJS and I won first in class with my 08 Jag
XKR. Very fortunate that I was the only car entered in my class of
Jags from 2008 and newer. Never expected to win anything. (Photos by

March 16, 2024 Fool's Spring BSCC Drive
Several BSCC members arrived on a chilly Saturday morning at Napa Auto Parts at Appling and Hwy 64 for this week's Cars and Coffee (see the schedule of this weekly event at the Recurring Events page. Note that the location varies throughout each month.) The group left there at about 10:00 for some good old fashioned driving fun to Herb Parsons Lake where several of the photos below were taken. Then the cruise continued on to the historic Main Street Collierville. Photos below are courtesy of Chris Irving.

February 11, 2024 Super Bowl Party
Dave White returned from his voyage to Antarctica (!) in time to once again host our annual Super Bowl Party. As in the past, no one left hungry - but there were probably a few wallets that were a bit lighter after the game. Enjoy the photos below that were taken by Carolyn Shepard.
