July 24, 2004 - The Garage Crawl |
|
Leo Goff once again hosted the annual Garage Crawl at his Memphis Motorwerks, which is quite an impressive facility. This was our best attended event in many months. A number of British cars and motorcycles appeared - along with at least 25 or 30 BSCC members. In addition to touring the facility, we were treated to a tech session on electrics by David LaBarreare of Memphis Motorwerks, and Alisa (of Details by Alisa) previewed some of her new products. |
Unfortunately, this photo doesn't show all the British Cars and bikes that made the event... |
Fred Tanner's TR6 was drafted as demo car for the event... |
As you can see, there was quite an attentive crowd gathered for the demo... |
Memphis Motorwerks technician David LaBarreare presented a terrific tech session on the use of a digital multimeter, troubleshooting electrical problems and the proper way to crimp and solder connections...not that any of our British cars are susceptible to wiring problems... |
The Everson's XKE was one of the restoration projects underway in the shop... |
